The day.
It has come.
I realized I hadn’t blogged any pony shipping today, and clearly that couldn’t be allowed to stand, so I went to look up some stuff to reblog. (Reblogging being relatively easy compared to combing through dA or YouTube on my lonesome, and easy being good because I’ve been dealing with constant fatigue lately, and it’s quickly becoming A Real Problem. But I digress.) And the very first term I typed into the search bar was “FlutterPie.”
It was only after looking through a few pages of results—many of which were my own blog posts—that something tickled at the back of my brain. Hey, wait, I thought to myself. Shouldn’t I have looked for Twinkie first?
I told myself that I only looked for FlutterPie over Twinkie because “Twinkie” is likely to produce photos of the snack food item and not the pony ship. I told myself this, but it was a lie and I knew it was a lie. It would’ve been perfectly easy to just search “TwiPie” instead.
And that is when it dawned on me. That the day that many predicated … that many have anticipated … that many have feared … that day has finally arrived.
FlutterPie is now my OTP.
(I’m sorry, Twinkie! I still love you! Just a smidgen less than FlutterPie!)
I… I don’t know what to say… except…
Is it because of me? Is it because I haven’t finished A Different Kind of Magic yet? I’m so sorry, I should have tried harder! I could have prevented this by giving you the TwiPie makeouts you wanted! It’s all my fault!
